Adam Sandler, Johnny Depp and Sylvester Stallone Top Razzie Nominations

As the Hollywood elite continue to count down to Oscar nominations morning (Thursday), the anti-Oscar Razzie Awards have released their list of nominees — better known as the worst cinematic achievements of 2013.

“Grown Ups 2″ leads with eight nominations, including one for Adam Sandler (Worst Actor). If Sandler wins it will be his third worst actor win in as many years, as he’s already taken Razzies home for “Jack & Jill” and “That’s My Boy.” Our film reviewer called “Grown Ups 2″ “among the slackest, laziest, least movie-like movies released by a major studio in the last decade.”

The annual awards, celebrating their 34th year, honor the worst films and performances.

“A Madea Christmas,” “Movie 43″ and “After Earth,”each picked up six nominations. “Madea” director, writer and star Tyler Perry was nominated in the Worst Actress category for his cross-dressing performance while Sylvester Stallone received a roundup nomination in the Worst Actor category for all three of his films released this year; “Grudge Match,” “Bullet to the Head” and “Escape Plan.”

Although most of Hollywood skips the event, Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry notwithstanding, the winners of this year’s Razzies will be announced March 1, the day prior to the Academy Awards. Below a complete list of nominees.
