An expert on Bargain Hunt was shut down moments into today's search.

Roo Irvine returned to host today's edition of the popular BBC programme. Two more teams were given £300 and browsed an antique market in Oswestry to see who could make the biggest profit.

The red team comprised of Sheena and Yvonne while Rachel and Elaine were competing for the Blue team. The Red team were joined by expert Phillip Serrell, and the search got off to a rocky start.

The challenge on today's show saw the reds tasked with finding an item connected to entertainment. Phillip leapt straight in with an offer of playing cards

He said: "Hold on a minute, I'm just thinking I just think we're going to have an awful job of this challenge in here. If you bought something like that."

However, the red team were very unimpressed with the suggestion as they immediately jumped in to shoot down the tip. On the narration, Roo said: "They're definitely not entertaining that idea Phil."

The search got better as they managed to secure their items. However, they didn't fare well at the auction as they made a loss of £31. The Blue team also made a loss of £19 but left as winners on today's show.
