The Chase's Mark Labbett, affectionately known as 'The Skinny Beast', has been commended for his lifestyle transformation. The quiz show legend took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a glimpse of his "healthy" meal at Seasons restaurant in Wickersley.

The 58-year-old brainbox, who has been a staple on the ITV show since 2009 and also featured on the American version from 2014, has seen a dramatic change in his health and physique. Having once expressed frustration over being "fat-shamed" on the show, Mark's diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes in 2016 prompted him to make significant changes to his diet and exercise routine, resulting in an impressive loss of over 10 stone.

The Instagram post, which showcased a nourishing bowl of soup accompanied by bread and butter, was warmly received by his 47,700 followers. The caption read: "My healthy dinner at Seasons restaurant Wickersley, one of my five a day :) #skinnybeast #seasonsrestaurant".
