CITIGROUP INC (NYSE: C - news)

The company's North America head of Treasury and Trade solutions, Andrew Gelb, will leave. A Citigroup memo said Gelb will leave at end of this week for "outside opportunity". Michael Fossaceca will be the interim head.

NIKKO ASSET MANAGEMENT EUROPE LTD

The company said it had hired a team of six portfolio managers from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, now owned by Aberdeen Asset Management (Other OTC: ABDNF - news) .

The team, led by William Low, will be based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Low, who has also worked at BlackRock Inc (NYSE: BLK - news) , joined Scottish Widows in 2011, where he led the formation of a global equity team.

ORRICK, HERRINGTON & SUTCLIFFE LLP

The company appointed Konstantin Kroll as a partner to its M&A and private equity practice group at its Moscow office.

Kroll, who is joining from Jones Day, has advised on some of the largest M&A and PE transactions in the energy, manufacturing, consumer and banking sectors in Russia.

STANDARD LIFE INVESTMENTS LTD

The investment management division of Standard Life Plc (LSE: SL.L - news) appointed Andrew Paisley as an investment director to its smaller companies team.

Paisley most recently worked as investment director, UK smaller companies at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, now owned by Aberdeen Asset Management.

PRESIDIO GROUP LLC

The financial advisory services provider said it had appointed two senior executives to its auto and truck investment banking group. The company appointed James Taylor as managing director and Doug Stewart as senior analyst.

Taylor, who was a managing member of Taylor Automotive Partners LLC, will look after the Presidio unit's transactions, business development and client relationship management.

Stewart was the west region chief financial officer of Group 1 Automotive Inc.

STATE STREET CORP

State Street appointed Oliver Berger as senior vice president, head of strategic market initiatives for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) within its sector solutions team.

BANK OF ENGLAND

Chief economist Spencer Dale is leaving the central bank, just two months after being moved to a new role, to become chief economist at oil major BP (LSE: BP.L - news) , the BoE said on Monday.

DEUTSCHE BANK (Xetra: 514000 - news)

The bank has hired a team of acquisition and divestiture (A&D) bankers in an effort to provide broader and deeper coverage of upstream oil and gas clients, according to a person familiar with the appointments.

Cliff Adams and Tim Saxman will join from Citigroup Inc where they were co-heads of acquisition and divestiture, according to an internal Deutsche memo seen by Reuters. Adams and Saxman will join Tad Neafsey as heads of upstream, Americas coverage. Based in Houston, they will report to Greg Sommer, head of energy, Americas.

STANDARD CHARTERED PLC (HKSE: 2888.HK - news)

Fred Leung has been appointed the head of mergers & acquisitions, Greater China (HKSE: 0431.HK - news) , at the company, effective immediately.

BNP PARIBAS SA (Xetra: 887771 - news)

The French bank named Paul Yang regional head for Greater China and country head for China, a new role created to boost business growth in the Greater China region.

GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC

Paul Parker, the former global head of mergers and acquisitions at Barclays Plc (LSE: BARC.L - news) , has joined the investment banking firm as co-chairman of its mergers and acquisitions division, a spokesman for Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS-PB - news) said on Sunday.

HARVARD MANAGEMENT CO INC

Harvard University hired a former hedge fund manager, Michael Ryan, at the school's money management arm. He will serve as head of public equity to help oversee how its $32 billion endowment invests in stock markets around the world, the Ivy League school said on Friday.
