M&S's Summer Beauty Bag hailed 'exceptional value for money' by shoppers
We had a first glimpse at the coveted 2024 beauty bargain that's sure to sell out fast.
It's official, summer is within arms reach! And to mark the occasion, Marks & Spencer has only gone and launched its hugely popular annual Summer Beauty Bag — bursting with 12 hero products that span skincare, haircare, bodycare and fragrance.
Back for another year and likely to sell out fast, M&S's Summer Beauty Bag is filled with a huge £170 worth of products for just £30. We'd go as far as to say this is one of the best M&S beauty bags we've ever seen in terms of the excellent value, high-end brands included and the variety of products. One shopper said "I’ve already found a couple of new favourites in this collection which I will be replacing when they’re finished."
We even had a first glimpse of the highly-anticipated summer buy before it launched and you can see what it looks like in real life below.
Filled with a range of sought-after brands like Clinique, REN, L’Occitane and more, this lavish beauty bag, complete with a reusable cosmetic bag, can be yours for £30 when you spend £35 on clothing, home or beauty in-store or online.
Much like all the other years since the beauty bags inception in 2018, there is one caveat. In order to bag the £30 bargain, you have to spend £35 on full-price clothing, home or beauty in-store or online. But let's be honest, hitting that spend cap won't take long. In order to get the discount simply add the £170 bag to your basket along with the other additional items and the money will come off at the checkout.
Although higher in price compared to 2023's iteration that was priced at £25, this year's buy does come with an additional product which compensates for the extra cost.
Inside there's a mix of miniature and full-sized picks that have been hand-selected by the M&S beauty team, including everything from fruity fragrances to quality SPF and hydrating moisturisers.
There are 12 items in total— six of which are full-sized — which each come carefully packaged in a green reusable bag (that could absolutely double up as your new make-up bag). Shoppers particularly love this year's designs. One shopper said, "Love the transparent bag too. Can take this when travelling, can see what's inside without having to feel around."
Kicking off the item selection, there's the viral Color Wow Extra Large Bombshell Volumiser, a hydrating hairspray that adds *just* the right amount of volume and bounce.
This is followed by a travel-sized edition of REN's Daily Glow Tonic (a Yahoo shopping editor favourite), which works to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and give your complexion a tight and glowy finish.
There's also two highly rated moisturisers, both a full-sized version of Marks & Spencer's Fresh Elements Hydrate Overnight Moisture Cream: a multi-tasking overnight cream which works to restore and retain skin's hydration levels, and a small tub of Clinique's Moisture Surge: a lightweight oil-free moisturiser with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera that gives an instant glow.
To cover all the bases this summer and stay protected, there's also an Ultrasun Face SPF50+ as well as Dr Paw Paw's SPF Lip Balm.
For those who love a spot of bodycare, there's the L’Occitane Verbena Shower Gel and This Works Perfect Body Butter, ideal after an "everything" shower.
