You'll want to wear this incredibly affordable two piece set on repeat.
I'm a massive fan of Uniqlo, in fact I'd go as far to say that the high street store makes up 50% of my wardrobe. I love its built-in bra tops, cult favourite cross body bags, pleated wide leg trousers, honestly the list goes on. My new favourite find is this Pleated Straight Leg Trousers and Pleated Sleeveless T-shirt co-ord set, that has fast become my go-to for all events and occasions.
Soft, comfortable, and fuss-free when you don't know what to wear, I snapped them up a little over a month ago and have already worn them to dinner, on holiday, and when visiting family over the weekend.
It has been such a failsafe, easy-to-throw-on outfit, I even now have the co-ord set in two colours: blue and black - and love them both equally. With a combined price tag of £44.80, they're an absolute bargain and worth every penny - I've been recommending it to everyone I know.

Firstly, a matching two piece is one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your wardrobe. I love wearing the top and trousers together for a uniform look, but I often also wear them paired with pieces I already own.
For example, I like to wear the trousers with a cosy jumper and my Birkenstock mules when I'm going somewhere more casual, or teaming the top with my favourite jeans.
I've always loved how accurate the sizing of Uniqlo clothes are, it makes shopping so much easier, and this set is no different. I'm a size 12 with a large bust and found the medium size fitted best. Both the top and trousers are available in sizes XXS to XXL, so there's a decent range to shop from.
It's made from a polyester fabric that's lightweight, breezy and perfect for warmer weather. I took it with me on holiday to Dubai in April and it was perfect in both the desert heat and air conditioned hotel.
It's extremely versatile for year-round wear too, just last week I wore it with a leather jacket and trainers for a trip to see family in London without being cold.
Most of my wardrobe is black, so of course I snapped up the black set first, but for a pop of colour that wasn't too daunting, I also bought it in the lovely navy blue shade. It also comes in a chic beige hue too, so there are three colour options to choose from.

The trousers have a straight leg design, which I find is much more flattering on me than a wide-leg fit. They also feature an elasticated waist so they are super comfortable for all-day wear, meanwhile the plissé effect ensures they still look smart so they're perfect to wear to work or for smarter occasions.
The top features the same effortlessly elegant plissé effect, as well as a sleek boat neck design, which makes it a sophisticated addition to your wardrobe. It serves as an elevated improvement on a basic T-shirt, especially useful through the spring and summer months.
Lastly, I'm so impressed with how much the pleated design looks so much more expensive than its very affordable price tag. For under £50, Uniqlo have managed to create a luxury-looking, timeless two-set that I know I'll be wearing for years to come.

To be completely honest, I am so pleased to have found this trouser and top set, and have nothing negative to say about it.
It's comfortable, looks good, can be mixed and matched with my existing wardrobe and doesn't break the bank - I'd recommend it to anyone.
