Karri Ramo absolutely robs Rangers’ J.T. Miller of goal (Video)

Henrik Lundqvist didn’t play in Tuesday night’s game between the Calgary Flames and New York Rangers, which meant Karri Ramo had to pick up the slack for unbelievable highlight reel saves.

In the first period, the Rangers were putting the offensive pressure on in the Flames’ zone. A deflected Ryan McDonagh shot went off the iron, rebounding directly to J.T. Miller.

The winger stared into a gaping net and knocked the puck towards it … and right into the outstretched glove of Ramo, robbing him of a goal.

Seeing it live at MSG, I thought Miller flubbed the shot a bit. Which doesn’t take away from the great effort of Ramo on the play, but I imagine it’s one Miller will be replaying in his mind for a bit.

Ramo has a .904 save percentage in 20 games this season for Calgary.
