What is it about McDonald’s hamburgers and NHL teams in Canada these days? You have Andrew ‘Hamburglar’ Hammond and all the free giveaways for gluttony by the Ottawa Senators. And now this video of Max Pacioretty trolling Bruins fans with his own McDonald’s burger.

Check out the hilariousness down below (s/t Reddit user Microdinosaurus):

A few notes here…

1. Getting Boston fans to say “Max 67 is awesome” just rocks. How often do you think they’d tell him that to his face if they knew it was him? And also, if they're really big hockey fans, how do you not know this guy is the best position player on your biggest rival?!?

2. What Pacioretty says is in the burger sounds gross. Nacho sauce and tortilla chips? Yikes ...

3. Random, but Pacioretty looks a lot like Roger Federer, which could add to the confusion? Wait no, they should still know who he is.

According to The Hockey News on the particulars of the burger when it was announced last week:

Pacioretty’s McDonald’s debut comes in the form of the special “Max 67” burger. The burger includes an Angus beef patty, bacon bits, tri-color nachos, cheese, tomato, and onion and is topped with a nacho sauce. It’s not clear how much influence Pacioretty himself had on the process, but if this was his idea, it doesn’t sound like an entirely terrible creation.

Between Pacioretty and P.K. Subban, the Canadiens have quite a pair of actors. Though only one may get coach Michel Therrien fined for his abilities to turn life into art.
