SOCHI, Russia – The U.S. women’s hockey team took on their arch nemesis Canada in the most anticipated game of the preliminary round of the Sochi Olympic tournament on Wednesday.

It was a special occasion. So Wesley Fry decided to dress the part.

The Arizona native donned a full patriotic body suit, complete with boxers and wig, high-fiving American players as they left the ice during warm-ups.

Players that his sister, Lyndsey, is quite familiar with … being that she is one.

Yes, the brother of U.S. Olympian Lyndsey Fry, a forward for the U.S. from Harvard University, wore this ensemble to support her against Team Canada, which has won 17 consecutive Olympic games.

Did she know?

“She has no idea,” he said, relishing the surprise.

Wesley Fry has had the outfit in his possession for some time and especially for the Canada game.

Canadian fans responded in kind, taking posed photos with him in their own patriotic gear.
