Brandon Thatch vs. Stephen Thompson Added to UFC Fight Night in Colorado
After being sidelined for a year due to injury, Brandon Thatch (9-1) will return to the Octagon on Feb. 14 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo., to take on Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
UFC officials announced the match-up on Thursday.
Thatch is on a 10-fight winning streak and hasn’t tasted defeat since 2008. He made his promotional debut in August 2013, winning Knockout of the Night honors for his first-round finish of Justin Edwards. He defeated Paulo Thiago in his last outing at UFC Fight Night 32.

Thompson is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. He defeated Patrick Cote in his last outing at UFC 178 in September. The lone loss on his record came to former title contender Matt Brown in April 2012.
UFC Fight Night in Broomfield takes place on Valentine’s Day. It will be the third event the UFC has hosted at the 1stBank Center.
