Conor McGregor Seeking Next Opponent, Not Waiting for Title Fight
Following his UFC 178 first-round finish of Dustin Poirier, UFC president Dana White said Conor McGregor was likely next in line for a title shot and would face the winner of champion Jose Aldo and top contender Chad Mendes. On Wednesday, McGregor said he would not be waiting on a title fight through a series of tweets.
Because Aldo's body is weak and Mendes is 2foot nothing, they will not be ready to challenge me for the throne until mid next year.

Aldo and Mendes meet in the UFC 179 main event on Oct. 24 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. McGregor would rather say active than wait around on the sidelines for a title fight.
