Have a go hero dishes out life lesson after 'old man attacked in Keighley'

CCTV footage of an old man being attacked - claiming to have happened in Keighley - has gone viral online with more than a million views.

The 1.22 minute clip was shared on X, formerly Twitter, showing what appears to be an old man being attacked by a younger man on a narrow path. Another member of the public then steps in to stop any more harm coming to the old man.

The X user who posted the viral clip, @dave24144975, entitled the video 'Karma. An elderly man attacked in Keighley/Yorkshire...' The time stamp on the video says the attack took place at 9.10am on Thursday, April 30.

The video appears to show an elderly man and woman passing a younger man on the street. Then the younger man turns around and attacks the old man, taking him to the ground.

Another younger man then appears in the video and attacks the younger man, warding him away from the elderly couple. At one point the old man's saviour pulls off the aggressor's shoes.

The aggressor then gets off the ground and uses one of his shoes to plonk the other younger man on the head. The man then turns around and knocks the aggressor back to the ground.

West Yorkshire Police was asked for a comment.
