UFC on FOX 13, featuring a five-round heavyweight showdown between Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic, pulled in strong ratings on FOX.

The entire event on FOX averaged 2.8 million viewers, and put the network in the No. 1 position in primetime for several key advertising demographics, including Men 18-34, Men 18-49, and Adults 18-34, according to Nielsen Media Research.

While the average of the broadcast was strong, the main event, which went the full five rounds and ended with former heavyweight champion dos Santos winning a split decision over Miocic, was even stronger. The fight reached a peak viewership of 3.8 million viewers.

UFC on FOX 13 followed a strong Friday night on FOX Sports 1 for The Ultimate Fighter: A Champion Will Be Crowned.

The TUF 20 Finale featured a main event that crowned the first UFC women’s strawweight champion with Carla Esparza dominating en route to submitting Rose Namajunas.

The TUF 20 Finale averaged 989,000 viewers, but peaked during the Esparza vs. Namajunas fight at 1.2 million viewers.
