Kagawa flies to Manchester - reports

Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa has flown to Manchester to negotiate a move to England, according to reports in the local German press.

The Japan playmaker, who scored 13 goals in 31 matches as Dortmund retained their Bundesliga crown, has just one year left on his contract and is widely rumoured to be joining Manchester United.

Local Dortmund newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten stated, with confidence, that Kagawa boarded the 19:15 plane from Dusseldorf to Manchester on Monday night, going so far as to give the flight number - Lufthansa LH3434.

Kagawa was reportedly accompanied by his agent, Thomas Kroth, who then told Dortmund they would not be negotiating a new deal at the German double winners.

The 23-year-old from Kobe joined Dormund for 350,000 euros in 2010 but is expected to fetch around £10 million.
