According to a Royal expert, Princess Kate will only agree to meet Prince Harry during his upcoming UK visit under one specific condition. Prince Harry is due to return to the UK next week for a special ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in London.

Ingrid Seward, a Royal expert, told the Mirror that for Kate to accept a meeting request from her brother-in-law, a directive might need to come from the top. She stated: "If the King asks, she will do it, but Charles being the sensitive and understanding soul he is, would be unlikely to ask such a favour from his adored daughter-in-law. The time must be right, and it not right now."

Regarding Prince William, she suggested that it's "unlikely" he'll want to meet with Harry, adding: "William has enough going on and doesn't need the stress. But he might realise Harry will want to see Kate after her cancer diagnosis as they were once so close," reports the Express.

"It remains to be seen if Kate is willing and able to face up to it. Does she have the energy to begin to try and heal the rift between the brothers or will she prefer to remain in the background?"

The monarch has been offering his support to his "beloved daughter-in-law" in recent weeks, particularly following her cancer diagnosis. Following her poignant speech to the nation on March 22, where she disclosed her diagnosis, the King, who himself was diagnosed with a form of cancer earlier this year, expressed his admiration by saying he was "so proud of Catherine for speaking as she did".

Meghan Markle has decided not to accompany Harry on his UK visit and will instead reunite with him in Nigeria following his trip. The couple has confirmed their plans to travel to the African nation shortly after Harry's appearance in the UK.
