Leeds skipper Robert Snodgrass suggested his future lies with the Yorkshire club following speculation he could be lured away in the summer.

Snodgrass, voted player of the year by both fans and his fellow team-mates, has another year to run on his current deal and his been offered an improved contract by manager Neil Warnock, who said he wanted to make the Scot his highest-paid player.

"People keep asking me about my future as if I'm out of contract, but I have another year left so it's a bit difficult to explain that sometimes," Snodgrass told the club's official website.

"I'll see what happens over the summer. I've had conversations with the gaffer and he's stressed that he wants to be up there next season and there's no better person to be in charge with what he's done, particularly in the Championship."
