Florida Man Goes on Frantic Search for 'Missing' Dog Who Was Chilling Behind Curtain

A Florida man who recently went into “full panic mode” after his adorable toy poodle went missing, was both relieved and at a loss for words when the pooch was discovered simply hanging out on a windowsill behind a curtain.

In this footage, Winter Park resident Shaun Sisso can be seen racing around and calling out for his then six-month-old puppy, Finley.

Sisso told Storyful that he looked for the pup for about 30 minutes, after he called for both his dogs and only one, a golden poodle named Daphne, showed up.

“This was odd because he usually follows Daphne around,” Sisso said, adding that he then started to use all the sounds that get his attention, such as ringing the doorbell, grabbing food out of the fridge, or shaking the treat jar.

The dog owner said that he went into full panic mode and called his wife, who checked the security camera and was met with videos of her husband “freaking out, crawling on the floor, and interrogating my other dog.”

The pooch was eventually found by Sisso’s friend, sitting like a cat on a windowsill, he said. Credit: Shaun Sisso via Storyful

SHAUN SISSO: Come on, dudes, inside. It's like-- he's in the window.
