Smoke From Canadian Wildfires Makes for Hazy Sunset in Ohio

Wildfire smoke from Canada caused smoky sunsets across northern Ohio on Tuesday, May 16, local media reported.

Footage from Toledo shows a red-tinged sun in a grey sky.

Local media reported that smoky skies were also seen in Napoleon and Liberty Center.

Canadian media said smoke from the over 90 fires in Alberta was moving into southern Ontario and pushing south of the Great Lakes. Credit: @TerryEckmanWx via Storyful
